There are two ways to synchronize your universal remote control with your TV or set-top box: one manual and one automatic. The foregoing applies to both the IPTV service and the traditional television service (also referred to as satellite).
To program your control you will need a code, which will depend on the brand of your television, decoder or player.
With your universal remote control, you can control your TV or decoder. To program it you will need the code of the equipment you want to control. If you do not have it, you can search it in the different code options for televisions, decoders and players that we show you below.
1. On your universal controller, press the key of the type of equipment you want to program and the LED light on it will blink once.
2. Keep the SET key pressed until the LED blinks twice and then release it.
3. Using the numeric keys of the control, enter the five-digit code corresponding to the brand of your equipment (if it does not have one, find it at the end of this content). Then the LED light should blink twice if the code you entered is valid. NOTE: If the LED does not blink twice, repeat steps 2 and 3 and enter a code again.
4. Point the remote control at the device and press the STANDBY / POWER key. The equipment should be turned off. If it does not turn off, repeat the steps from the 2 to the 4 with each code corresponding to find one that works.
The configuration of your TV requires a code to synchronize the remote control with the television, for this, there is an automatic way (of the code search) and a manual. Here we show you how to do it automatically.
